Description:
Vanitas, a vampire born under a blue moon, was ostracized by others of his kind, leaving him fearful and alone. According to legend, he wrote the "Book of Vanitas," a cursed grimoire that would one day be used for revenge against all vampires. In 19th century Paris, Noé Archiviste is on the hunt for the infamous Book of Vanitas. While on an airship, he is rescued from a vampire attack by a strange doctor named Vanitas who possesses the very book he seeks. Ironically, this supposed vampire expert is a human who inherited not only the book but also the name from his former mentor, the original Vanitas of legend. As the strange Charlatan's Parade emerges, the doctor's ability to restore the sanity of vampires by recovering their true names will prove invaluable.
