Description:
High school student Yuuko Yoshida is left bewildered after dreaming of her mysterious ancestor only to wake up with demonic horns and a tail. Her mother uncovers a grim family secret, revealing that they are descendants of the Dark Clan, a group banished by their enemies, the Light Clan, to a life of penury and oppression sans their magical abilities. The only way for Yuuko to break that ancestral curse is by finding a magical girl, slaying her and smearing her blood over the Demon God statue, thereby lifting the curse. Enter Momo Chiyoda, who fortuitously rescues Yuuko from an oncoming truck, but ends up being her classmate at Sakuragaoka High and is a lot stronger, both physically and in endurance. Sympathetic towards her weak opponent, the magical Momo embarks on training Yuuko to awaken her latent powers. The ultimate goal lies in Yuuko triumphing over her benevolent frenemy to save her family from the oppressive clutches of poverty.
