Description:
Despite his father's warnings about the existence of supernatural monsters known as youkai, Ushio Aotsuki, a determined middle-school student, remains skeptical. However, everything changes when he stumbles upon a horrifying discovery in the temple's basement – a fearsome impaled youkai known as Tora, renowned for its incredible strength. Desperate for freedom after being imprisoned for over 500 years, Tora pleads with Ushio to release him, but he remains cautious and refuses. However, when his loved ones and town become endangered due to a sudden youkai outbreak, he must rely on Tora's assistance and the Beast Spear, a legendary weapon, to defend themselves. Thus, commences an extraordinary journey into the spiritual realm as Ushio and Tora navigate the dangerous supernatural world together. With the mighty Beast Spear in hand, Ushio gradually learns the true and terrifying nature of this realm.
