Description:
Eruruu discovers an injured man in the woods whose entire history is shrouded in mystery. With no recollection of his past or even his own identity, Eruruu welcomes him into her home and, with the help of her grandmother and younger sister, bestows upon him the name Hakuoro. Unlike the rest of the village, who possess both tails and large ears, Hakuoro's most notable feature is a mask that he is unable to remove. As Hakuoro settles into his new surroundings, a rebellion against the oppressive emperor of the land ignites, and soon the conflict reaches his doorstep. With the people and village he has come to hold dear in peril, Hakuoro must employ all his resources to protect those around him whilst simultaneously piecing together the enigma that is his own existence.
