Description:

The task assigned to Xiao-Bai was to assassinate the Emperor's Taoist advisor, who had been mercilessly slaughtering snakes to attain immortality and gain favor from the Emperor. As a white snake demon, Xiao-Bai sets out to complete the mission. However, she is attacked by the advisor's henchmen before she could reach him. Fortunately, she survives the assault due to the supernatural hairpin given to her by the Snake Mother, but at the cost of her memories. Xiao-Bai wakes up in a place called the Snake-catcher village, unaware of her actual identity or the fact that she is surrounded by her mortal enemies. Nonetheless, she finds solace in the company of a man named Xu Xuan, who rescues her. Together, they take on a journey to uncover the truth about her past and the secrets of the mysterious hairpin. Meanwhile, Xiao-Qing, her sister, is determined to bring her back under the command of the Snake Mother, even if it meant capturing her alive or dead. In the midst of the chaos caused by the clash between Taoists, demons, and humans, an illicit love affair develops.
