Description:
Kei Agemaki, a Second Lieutenant and the son of a renowned general, has lived with an intense fear of paranormal creatures his whole life. However, when he is assigned to work and live with youkai at the Ministry of Spirit Affairs alongside two other officers, Kei's fear is put to the ultimate test. His worst nightmare becomes a reality, and he must rely on the assistance of Kushimatsu, a fox spirit, to collaborate with youkai maidens Zakuro, Susukihotaru, Hoozuki, and Bonbori to solve supernatural cases. Set in a Japanese Westernized era, Otome Youkai Zakuro explores the fusion of youkai maidens and human officers while examining the interactions between the local and foreign, East and West, and men and women. With the world constantly changing around them, they must learn to work together and adjust to their differences.
