Description:
A young Taiwanese assassin known as "Glass Heart" ended her life by jumping off a building and her heart was impaled by a metal fence. Fortunately, her life was saved through a heart transplant. As she recovered in the hospital, she started having peculiar dreams that led her to Japan in search of the heart donor, who turned out to be Kaori Makimura - former partner of City Hunter Ryo Saeba. The author clarified in the first tankoubon volume that Angel Heart only shares the same characters as City Hunter but is not a continuation of the series. The events take place in a parallel universe and, therefore, have no connection to City Hunter.
