Description:
The picturesque country of Apfelland is situated between Austria, Germany, and Russia. Charlottenburg, the capital, is where Vel resides. One day, he aids a girl named Frid who was abducted because of the discovery of a radium mine in her grandfather's deserted mineshaft. Many individuals, including an American who seeks monetary gain, a Polish woman masquerading as a man looking to finance the revolution, and the Ministry of Apfelland, who desires to form an alliance with Germany, flock to the radium mine. Vel and Frida unwittingly become embroiled in their machinations and uncover the mine's hidden secrets.
