Description:

Having fled a traumatic childhood, the lone mercenary known as Guts had spent his life drifting from one battlefield to the next, using his unwieldy sword to strike down powerful enemies. But all that changed when he crossed paths with the enigmatic Griffith and his small army, the Band of the Hawk. After a brutal skirmish, Griffith recognized Guts' fighting skill and drafted him into the ranks of his elite team, granting the swordsman a sense of kinship he'd never known. Alongside the equally skilled warrior Casca, Guts helped Griffith guide the band to fame and glory. But as their reputation grew, Griffith became the target of assassination attempts and political schemes. As he grew closer to Casca, Guts struggled to find his own sense of purpose, feeling increasingly adrift.
