Description:
Koro and Kan, the offspring of Ken and Chin, the fox duo, were welcomed into the world amidst great joy. These little cubs grew up frolicking on the northern Japanese island of Chironup, where they befriended a fisherman and his partner. Unfortunately, their carefree existence was threatened by military soldiers who seized fox pelts as souvenirs during a training exercise. This tale serves as a poignant reminder of the suffering endured by Japan's indigenous Ainu people, and reignites the ongoing dispute over the northern islands, which have been under Russian control since being occupied by Stalin's troops in 1945.
