Description:
After NERV's unsuccessful attempt to retrieve the Spears of Longinus and carry out the Human Instrumentality Project, the Fourth Impact's devastating consequences have mostly been avoided. Amidst the chaos, Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley Shikinami, and Rei Ayanami journey to Village 3, a sanctuary for survivors unaffected by Earth's destruction. In this tranquil setting, Shinji gradually comes to grips with his past, fashioning a new life beyond his Evangelion pilot days. In the meantime, NERV readies itself for a fresh Impact as part of the Instrumentality Project. When WILLE's primary airborne battleship docks at the village, Shinji opts to board, convinced that operating an Evangelion can aid their endeavor. As new revelations arise and the confrontation between WILLE and NERV looms, the fate of the planet rests in the balance. Will Shinji be able to save humanity and the world once more?
