Description:
Featuring storyboard art previously unseen, the short showcases Evangelion alongside the supervision of director Hideaki Anno, while the directing and storyboarding are done by Mahiro Maeda. Additionally, the music is composed by Shiro Sagisu, while the Japanese version of the English lyrics is narrated by voice actress Megumi Hayashibara. Sagisu, who made a few comments about the video on his website, posted the Japanese lyrics and shared some interesting facts. While finishing work on Q, Anno informed him that this would be the last time they'd be using the F2 (Next Episode) theme, which compelled Sagisu to create an extended version of it. The video comprises four versions of the song, including an unreleased version by the London Studio Orchestra (at the start), the Takahashi version from Xpressions, the version from Piano Forte #1, and Hayashibara's narrated version.
