Description:
When Tsubasa Shiina moved to Hokkaido to live with her dad, she was a reticent and introverted student. But everything changed when she saw a UFO crash in the nearby forest one night. Rushing to the scene, she discovered the badly injured pilot, aptly nicknamed "D.D.," struggling to survive alongside a repulsive Maguar - a monster that emerged from his ship. The Maguar was poised to attack Tsubasa when an extraordinary alien fused with her to form the formidable Riberus battle armor, known as Figure 17, which swiftly annihilated the extraterrestrial threat. The entity, named Hikaru, became her twin, and her companionship helped Tsubasa become more sociable. Unfortunately, numerous Maguar eggs were scattered across Hokkaido, and the only way to destroy the hatched monsters was to unite again as Figure 17, awaiting the backup from D.D.'s planet to arrive on earth.
