Description:
Nikuko-chan, a vivacious and portly woman often seen manning the grill, calls a small town in the northern part of the region home. Despite having traveled to many places and engaged with various men, she has finally anchored down on a houseboat with her daughter, also named Nikuko, but struggles to establish their place in the world. While Nikuko-chan's daring behavior propels her towards her ambitions, her introverted daughter, Kikuko, tends to retreat from her mother's actions. Kikuko's teenage years are rife with challenges, from navigating school to unraveling the enigma of her curious classmate, Ninomiya. Her days are mundane, lacking any genuine excitement.
