Description:
Despite his appearance, Kintarou Oe is a brilliant individual who accomplished all of his academic requirements in university but chose to drop out right before completing his degree. He sets out on his bicycle as a nomadic student, moving from one destination to another with the goal of acquiring knowledge about existence, the global community, and the opposite sex. He is always eager and capable of undertaking any task in order to demonstrate his worth. During his travels, he encounters numerous women and diverse settings, with each female growing to admire the diligent young man, albeit after he has already moved on to his next destination.
