Description:
It is whispered in Hokkaido that a hidden stash of gold exists, allegedly stolen by a man who killed the original Ainu owners. Before he was captured and imprisoned by the authorities, he hid the gold in an undisclosed location. To pass on the location of the gold to his cohorts on the outside, he inked a map onto his cellmates' bodies, promising them a share of the bounty if they managed to locate and retrieve it after escaping. In the second season of Golden Kamuy, First Lieutenant Tokushirou Tsurumi is determined to gain an advantage for the 7th Division in the tattoo war by enlisting a taxidermist to craft skins so expertly that only he will recognize them as fakes. Meanwhile, Saichi "The Immortal" Sugimoto, Asirpa, and their group press on with their search for the skins by tracking down an unusual rumor: a burglar who broke into a residence in Yubari uncovered stuffed human corpses, one of which bore peculiar tattoos on its torso.
