Description:

Joutarou Kuujou is peacefully incarcerated in a Japanese prison cell many years after an ancient evil was found from the depths of the sea. He insists on not being freed, as he believes he has been possessed by an evil spirit that can harm those around him, even though he has not committed any crime. Holly Kuujou expresses her concern for her son's well-being and asks Joseph Joestar, her father, to convince Joutarou to leave the jail. Joseph informs his grandson that the "evil spirit" Joutarou is referring to is, in fact, a "Stand," the tangible representation of one's fighting spirit that can adopt various deadly forms. After a scorching encounter with Joseph's pal, Mohammed Avdol, Joutarou is forced to leave his cell and starts learning how to control the power of his Stand. Nonetheless, when Holly's Stand awakens and jeopardizes her existence in 50 days, Joutarou, Joseph, and their comrades must embark on a quest to destroy an invincible vampire who caused her predicament. They must trek halfway around the earth to Cairo, Egypt, and encounter formidable Stand users determined to hinder their mission. Should they fall short, humanity will be destined for an unpleasant fate.
