Description:
Hyuma Hoshi is the protagonist of the story, a gifted baseball pitcher who aspires to follow in the footsteps of his father, Ittetsu Hoshi, a renowned star in Japan's professional league. Ittetsu was initially a 3rd baseman but had to retire after suffering injuries during World War II. Hyuma becomes a member of the popular Giants team but soon realizes the enormity of coping with the sky-high expectations weighing on him. He must endure rigorous training and compete against Mitsuru Hanagata, his rival on the Hanshin Tigers, while summoning his best pitching prowess to overcome these obstacles.
