Description:
Lupin the Third, a daring thief with a penchant for treasure, is once again on the hunt. This time, he seeks the elusive Gold of Babylon, with the help of his partners Jigen and Goemon. They travel the world solving puzzles and avoiding the dangerous New York Mafia, while simultaneously evading the watchful eye of Interpol Inspector Zenigata and his squad of five tenacious, beautiful policewomen. What connection does Rosetta, an enigmatic and flirtatious elderly woman, have to the Babylonian gold? Co-directed by renowned filmmaker Seijun Suzuki and accompanied by Yuji Ohno's infectious jazz soundtrack, this colorful animated adventure takes viewers on a bizarre journey from New York to the Middle East and back, in search of a fabulous treasure inspired by the biblical story of the Tower of Babel.
