Description:
In the past, humans lived exclusively underwater, but some individuals desired a life above the surface and permanently left the depths, resulting in the loss of their innate ability to breathe underwater called "Ena." Despite this division, communication continued between the two groups. The anime "Nagi no Asu kara" follows the journeys of Hikari Sakishima, Manaka Mukaido, and their friends Kaname Isaki and Chisaki Hiradaira, who embark on an education above sea level. Here, they meet Tsumugu Kihara, a fisherman who has a deep love for the ocean. As they navigate this new environment, Hikari and his friends are met with age-old animosity and prejudice between those who live on the surface and those who live underwater. They must confront personal conflicts and prepare for an impending storm that threatens all lives on the surface.
