Description:
With six billion lives lost and 90% of land submerged by the "Hammer of Eden" catastrophe, the remnants of humanity formed the New United Nations 14 years later to establish peace on devastated lands. Keel, a resident of Yabitsu, a thriving town powered by a nuclear generator from the calamity, is related to Aoi, the Secretary General of the New United Nations. Aoi sees the calamity as an opportunity to build a better world where nations can surmount differences of race and religion, but her efforts face opposition from the unwillingness of nations to change. Military officer Gould believes that the only way to create order is through force and, with the nuclear submarine Ulysses and his crew, including Keel's brother Tean, stages a coup to initiate war against the New United Nations and invade Yabitsu.
