Description:
In 2205, there exists a sage named Saniwa who possesses the power to breathe life into lifeless objects. At the same time, malicious forces have hatched a plan to alter the timeline of history. The only hope of thwarting their wicked intentions lies with the strongest animations under Saniwa's command: handsome young men fashioned after historical Japanese swords. Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru follows Yamatonokami Yasusada, Souji Okita's treasured uchigatana, as he embarks on his first day at the Saniwa's stronghold. Alongside his dear friend Kashuu Kiyomitsu, they immerse themselves in the daily shenanigans of their fellow sword companions, always ready to join in the fun, including snowball skirmishes and introducing new comrades to the fold. Yet, when the call for action arises, the swords never falter in their duty to safeguard history.
