Description:

The earth was ravaged by the destruction of its natural resources, ecosystem disruption, and devastating wars featuring nuclear bombs and biological weapons throughout the 20th century. The planet became desolate and contaminated, leading to the extinction of countless plant and animal species. This brought about the sixth mass extinction event: The Big Six. Humans created the aero police to safeguard endangered creatures, and the isolated aerial city became a genetic breeding ground for various animals that evolved over time. These creatures developed the ability to walk upright and communicate with language, eventually constructing a civilization and leading peaceful lives. But now, the terrestrial world is no longer of interest to them. One fateful day, the aero police stumble upon a mysterious seed from the unknown world below. Suddenly, their adventure into the unseen terrestrial landscape begins, though they are unaware that they will never be able to return once they descend from the safety of the air. Note: UTOPA is a part of Anime Tamago 2016, a program designed to train and nurture young animators.
