Description:

Following the murder of her father, Ryuuko Matoi roams the countryside in pursuit of his killer. Armed with only one lead - the missing portion of his invention, the Scissor Blade - Ryuuko arrives at the exclusive Honnouji Academy, a high school that differs from all others. The academy is governed by the powerful and unfeeling student council president, Satsuki Kiryuuin, and her formidable aides, the Elite Four. Within the school's ruthlessly competitive hierarchy, Satsuki grants the top-ranking individuals unique superhuman abilities via specialized clothing known as "Goku Uniforms." After being soundly defeated in battle by one of Satsuki's uniform-clad students, Ryuuko retreats to her ruined home and discovers Senketsu, a valuable and self-aware "Kamui," or Divine Clothing. When Senketsu latches onto Ryuuko after her blood comes into touch with the Kamui, it triggers a powerful awakening and provides her with tremendous strength. With Senketsu and the Scissor Blade at her disposal, Ryuuko takes a stand against the Elite Four, hoping to confront Satsuki and finally uncover the truth behind her father's murder.
