Three decades ago, a new breed of mutant with the power to generate flames emerged suddenly, unleashing immense destruction on a sizable portion of the human populace. These beings, dubbed "Burnish," continue to surface indiscriminately, carrying a trail of annihilation and carnage in their wake. Promepolis, an independent republic, flourishes nowadays thanks to the tireless struggles of its leader, Kray Foresight, against the Burnish. The Burning Rescue, a squad of firefighters equipped with top-of-the-line technology by the brilliant mechanic Lucia Fex, are charged with halting these monstrous entities. Galo Thymos, a passionate young man who regards Foresight as his savior and the latest addition to the rescue team, exudes charisma and boundless energy. A shadowy group, self-styled as the Mad Burnish, is responsible for an onslaught of chaos that has befallen the nation. After a chance encounter with Lio Fotia, the leader of the Mad Burnish, Galo embarks on a fateful journey to unravel the truth about these mutants. Ultimately, his quest leads him to question every belief he once held.
