Description:
For years, Kyoto has been inhabited by groups of tanuki and tengu who coexist with humans, who remain unaware of their existence. Yasaburou Shimogamo, the youngest son of a powerful tanuki family, spends his days carefree, tending to an elderly tengu, using his ability to shapeshift to observe humans, and coping with a mysterious woman named Benten. However, behind the calm and peaceful facade lies a heartbreaking memory. Yasaburou's father, the leader of the tanuki community, was killed and consumed by a group of humans known as the Friday Fellows. Uchouten Kazoku chronicles the struggles of the Shimogamo siblings as they strive to avoid their own fatal fate while uncovering the truth about their father's death.
