Description:
Attending an all-girls academy to become a noble dame, Isabella, a member of the esteemed York family, feels disillusioned and trapped inside the school. Her family notices her struggles and brings in Violet Evergarden as her personal tutor, disguised as a handmaiden. At first, Isabella treats Violet coldly, believing she was born with natural privilege and skills. However, as they spend more time together, Isabella realizes Violet had her own set of difficulties and begins to open up. She even shares her longing to reconnect with her cherished younger sister, Taylor Bartlett, who she hasn't seen in a while. Violet recognizes the value of expressing emotions through writing and suggests composing a letter to Taylor. Could Violet help Isabella bridge the emotional gap between her and her sibling, who has been absent for so long?
