Kyon looked forward to another exhilarating outing with his SOS Brigade companions as he arrived at school on a chilly December morning. However, he was surprised to discover that everything was turned upside down. Haruhi Suzumiya and Itsuki Koizumi were nowhere to be found, Mikuru Asahina had no recollection of him, Yuki Nagato had transformed into a human, and Ryouko Asakura had reappeared from the shadows. As someone well-versed in the supernatural, Kyon was uneasy about the peculiar situation and resolved to investigate alone. Kyon was the only one who remembered the previous reality, which left him with a difficult choice. Should he embrace the ordinary life he had desired for so long or find a way to reverse time and bring back his familiar yet chaotic world?
