Tom Sawyer's cyber city operates on the concept of accumulating "Love," similar to social media's likes, with public amenities and avatars offered to residents in exchange for Love. The hologram device known as "Deco," implanted in citizens' eyes from childhood, allows for this exchange. While the government oversees Tom Sawyer, a mysterious figure known as Phantom Zero regularly reduces Love to zero wherever they go. Despite living comfortably in Tom Sawyer's system, Berry, a curious young girl fixated on Phantom Zero, discovers her malfunctioning Deco which unveils the disguised prankster, Hack. After mistakenly following Hack, Berry begins to uncover secrets long guarded by the city. Hack is not the only one living outside the system's rules, and Tom Sawyer's colorful exterior belies its underlying darkness.
