Description:
Sena Kobayakawa, a timid and unassuming student at Deimon High School, is constantly bullied due to his timid personality and small stature. Nevertheless, Sena's talent for avoiding large crowds has been honed by his life of running errands, and his agility is unmatched. One fateful day, the captain of the Deimon Devil Bats, Youichi Hiruma, takes notice of Sena's extraordinary speed and convinces him to join the team. To keep Sena's identity concealed from rival clubs, Hiruma mandates that he wear a visored helmet and adopt the moniker "Eyeshield 21." This enigmatic running back dons the number 21 jersey and is rumored to reach speeds comparable to those of light. Eyeshield 21 is renowned for his stellar record playing for Notre Dame College in the United States. Sena's history of sidestepping conflicts proves to be his most valuable attribute, allowing him to emerge as the Deimon Devil Bats' clandestine weapon. As he interacts with his new teammates and acquaintances, Sena gradually gains self-assurance and establishes meaningful connections with those around him.
