Description:

Takumi Fujiwara differs from his peers in terms of his disinterest in automobiles and limited exposure to the car enthusiast and street racing community. As the offspring of a tofu shop proprietor, Takumi's daily responsibility involves delivering tofu without compromising his rigorous routine while driving through the Akina mountains. Car and driving-related discussions serve only as a reminder of Takumi's monotonous daily task. One evening, the Akagi Red Suns, a notorious gang of street racers, arrive in Akina to take on the local mountain pass. Ryousuke and Keisuke Takahashi lead the Red Suns, with aspirations of becoming the fastest group in the Kanto region by conquering every course. However, to their surprise, an old Toyota AE86 overtakes one of their aces while driving home from Akina. Upon reflection, the Takahashi brothers become wary of an unknown driver with remarkable skills and familiarity with the local roads - none other than the AE86 of Mount Akina.
