Description:
As a high school freshman, Houtarou Oreki simply wants to lead an uneventful life with minimal exertion. However, his plans are dashed when his sister Tomoe implores him to save the Classics Club from falling apart. Luckily, upon reaching the club room, Oreki discovers that Eru Chitanda, a fellow freshman, has already joined. Although Oreki feels he has fulfilled his duty, he cannot resist Chitanda's lively and inquisitive personality, causing him to join on his own accord. The journeys of the Classics Club's four members, which include Oreki's friends Satoshi Fukube and Mayaka Ibara, are chronicled in Hyouka.
