Description:

VRAINS is the sixth anime installment of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, and its abbreviation stands for "Virtual Reality Artificial Intelligence Network System." Set in a futuristic city called Den City, players engage in duels through digital cards in LINK VRAINS - an online virtual reality world managed by SOL Technology, Inc. The Knights of Hanoi, a mysterious organization, infiltrate LINK VRAINS to track down an errant AI program by the name of Ignis. The only person capable of stopping their exploits is a master duelist going by the pseudonym "Playmaker." Unbeknownst to his online persona, Playmaker is actually high school student Yuusaku Fujiki, a proficient hacker with a troubled past and personal vendetta against Hanoi. As the first individual to capture Ignis, Yuusaku finds himself at the center of a fierce conflict involving himself, SOL Technology and the Knights of Hanoi.
