Description:
To become a full-fledged witch, 13-year-old Kiki must undergo a year of independent living in a distant town, bidding farewell to her family and friends. Mounted on her broomstick with her black cat Jiji alongside her, she flies off to the unknown world. Upon arrival in the coastal town of Koriko, Kiki faces difficulties trying to adjust, wandering aimlessly without a roof over her head. It's not until Osono appears and offers her accommodation in exchange for delivery services for her bakery that Kiki finds a place to call home. Eager to establish herself in the town, Kiki starts her own courier service using her trusty broomstick. Her journey to independence teaches Kiki the essence of responsibility as she embraces new experiences and ingratiates herself into the society.
