Description:

A demon-possessed wild boar attacks a peaceful mountain village, compelling Ashitaka, a young prince within the tribe, to fight it and save his people. Regrettably, he sustains an injury while fighting, and the curse gradually spreads to his entire body. As is customary, the tribe exiles him, and he embarks on a nomadic journey to find a cure before the curse engulfs him entirely. Lady Eboshi, who runs Iron Town, is notorious for exploiting natural resources in the area, like chopping down trees and mining iron-rich sand to create weapons and machinery. This destruction of habitats provokes nearby animal tribes, led by San, a young girl from the Wolf clan who seeks vengeance. Ashitaka comes to Iron Town and finds himself amidst a violent conflict. Though disheartened by the situation, he resolutely strives to reconcile with the Wolf clan. It remains ambiguous whether the Spirit of the Forest will aid Ashitaka in breaking the curse, specifically in a world ravaged by savage clashes between humans and animals, with the forest itself in peril.
