Description:

Only shown at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, this short film is accompanied by the enchanting arrangement of Antonio Vivaldi's La Folia by Joe Hisaishi. Deep in a thicket-filled forest lies a solitary water mill home to Baba Yaga, a witch who keeps her diminutive servant, the Egg Princess, captive and imposes back-breaking daily tasks upon her. One fateful evening, a sizable bowl of freshly-prepared dough unexpectedly awakens under the witch's spell. In apprehension of Baba Yaga, the Egg Princess and her new ally flee the mill. What destiny awaits them both...?
