Description:
Set in 1963 Yokohama, Umi is a high school student living in her family's hilltop house overlooking the sea. Each day, she raises two flags towards the bay with a message to convey. A poem about the flags is published in her school newspaper, and Umi wonders if the daring editor, Shun, is the author who has caught her attention. As they work together to save the old clubhouse, Umi and Shun's relationship takes an unexpected turn after a discovery about their past. Their story in the midst of Japan's struggle between tradition and modernization is a heartfelt portrayal of love, friendship, and hope.
